Electrician / Engineer
We are seeking a Australian qualified Electrician to join our fast growing business in Newcastle Australia. This role would suit a Australian qualified Electrician who is looking to move into a office based engineering role. Full training and support for the transition to a engineering role will be provided. Recently qualified Electricians are also encouraged to apply.
- Repair and testing of variable speed drives and other automation hardware,
- Electronics repair - training and IPC certification to be provided,
- PLC programming,
- VSD configuration,
- SCADA programming,
- Drawings using EPLAN, Autocad Electrical and Inventor,
- Qualified Electrician,
- A strong electrical aptitude with maintenance and troubleshooting experience,
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential with an ability to communicate and negotiate with customers.
- An understanding of engineering design principles would be advantageous.
